INHORGENTA 2025

INHORGENTA 2025, a leading trade fair for jewelry, watches, and gemstones, took place in Munich from February 21 to 24. After five or six years of absence, this year’s INHORGENTA brought some positive surprises that delighted certain watch enthusiasts.

The FHH Cultural Space – an exciting development

The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) introduced the new FHH Cultural Space in Hall A1. This platform featured lectures, workshops, and exhibitions such as Watches and Talents, showcasing the craftsmanship of watchmakers. Anyone who ever wanted to see a triple-axis tourbillon in real life was in the right place!
Once again, the FHH strengthened the fair’s expertise in fine watchmaking and presented renowned brands. And just like five years ago, they managed to make the craftsmanship tangible. You won’t find that at any other trade show, I believe.

International focus and growth – the numbers speak for themselves

With 1,334 brands from 38 countries, the fair recorded a 3.4% increase compared to the previous year. More than half of the exhibitors came from abroad, with strong contributions from Italy, India, Switzerland, and France. This confirms that INHORGENTA is becoming increasingly international and, therefore, more relevant to the global market.
India was the fair’s partner country, highlighted through the India Experience Zone—an exciting addition to the event’s offerings.

The brands – who was there?

Switzerland had a strong presence, as always, with brands such as Eberhard & Co., Favre-Leuba, Vulcain, Edox, Doxa, Milus, and Victorinox. Germany was represented by Mühle Glashütte, Tutima Glashütte, Junghans, Junkers Uhren, Zeppelin, and Alexander Shorokhoff. Other key players included Citizen and Casio from Japan, Garmin from the USA, the Fossil Group (with Emporio Armani), Yema from France, and Roamer from Switzerland.

Supporting program and trends – plenty to discover

The TRENDFACTORY MUNICH and WATCH TALKS featured high-level discussions on topics such as independent brands, Gen Z trends, and sustainable materials. The INHORGENTA AWARD honored outstanding designs in categories such as Luxury Watch.
High-end products priced above €5,000 were particularly in demand, further strengthening the fair’s position in the luxury segment.

My conclusion: A step forward

INHORGENTA continues to evolve and is solidifying its position in the watch industry. The expanded collaboration with the FHH is a smart move, making the fair even more attractive for mechanical watch enthusiasts.
Of course, major names like Rolex or Patek Philippe are still absent—you’re more likely to see them at Watches & Wonders in Geneva. But for the Munich fair, the chosen path looks promising.
I’m already looking forward to the next edition—and who knows, maybe we’ll even see some independent watchmakers or a major luxury brand there…
